Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Clinical Mat Work & Equipment Pilates — Unite Health (2025) Women's Health 101 for Exercise Physiologists (2026) Ash O'Regan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who delivers highly individualised, evidence-based exercise programs designed to optimise long-term health, resilience and performance. She graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Queensland University of Technology, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic disease management and advanced exercise prescription. Ash takes a structured, progressive approach to exercise prescription — breaking down complex movement patterns into clear, achievable strategies and building programs that patients can genuinely sustain and own beyond the clinic. She places strong emphasis on movement quality, education and building lasting confidence, so that patients leave each session not just having completed a workout but understanding why each element of their program matters for their long-term wellbeing. Over the past two years Ash has also been teaching Clinical Pilates at Articulate, refining her expertise in movement analysis, motor control and progressive strength development. This training allows her to integrate precise, technique-driven reformer and mat-based methods into rehabilitation programs — an approach that is particularly valuable for patients transitioning between exercise physiology management and general Pilates, or who benefit from the controlled, precision-focused environment of Pilates-based exercise. Ash is currently undertaking further professional development in Women's Health Exercise Physiology, expanding her ability to support clients confidently across all life stages — from the specific exercise demands of pregnancy and the postpartum period through to perimenopause, menopause and beyond. This builds on her existing clinical interest in women's health conditions, which is increasingly a defining area of her practice. Ash works with patients funded through NDIS, DVA, WorkCover, CTP and GP Chronic Condition Management Plans (GPCCMP), as well as private patients and those with private health insurance. She also runs Articulate's Balance and Bones exercise classes and Diabetes Management exercise classes. Special interest areas Her special interest areas include:
Outside of the clinic, Ash enjoys staying active, coastal beach trips, and spending time with friends, family, and her puppy Jimmy. |
