Getting to Know Emma Cameron

Our newest team member Emma graduated from a Bachelor of Science – Psychology (Honours) from the University of Queensland before going on to do her Masters of Sport and Exercise at the University of Southern Queensland. In her thesis project she looked at training loads, wellness factors and injury in professional contemporary dancers, working with professional contemporary dancers to monitor personal and training-related stressors and assess how these potentially contribute toward injury. She then went on to study her Masters of Physiotherapy Studies also at the University of Queensland. She has experience in musculoskeletal. cardiorespiratory, neurological rehabilitation, aged care and occupational physiotherapy. We are so excited to welcome Emma to the team, and we recently sat down with her to ask her a few questions about what physio means to her.
