DVA Physiotherapy Services: Am I Eligible?
Articulate is proud to offer physiotherapy appointments for Veteran's through the Department of Veteran's affairs. You may be able to receive physiotherapy services if you have an assessed clinical need and:
You must also have a valid and current referral from your general practitioner (GP).
How do DVA physiotherapy sessions work?
From 1 October 2019, referrals to this service will be under the Allied Health Services treatment cycle. This means that a referral will last for up to 12 sessions or 1 year, whichever ends first.
These treatment cycles place you at the centre of your care and the GP as your care coordinator.
There are no limits to the number of treatment cycles you can have.

We work closely with several GPs in the area with patients holding DVA cards, and of course we are happy to liaise with GPs outside our current referral network. You can simply give our details to your GPs clinic staff in order for our team to be a part of your care.

How do we charge for DVA appointments?
If you are eligible for DVA appointments and we have received your referral from your GP for your current treatment cycle, we are more than happy to bulk bill your appointment directly to Medicare.
Each treatment cycle must start with an Initial Appointment, and two consultations cannot be claimed on the same day.

- a Veteran White Card and your treatment is for an accepted service-related condition
