What happens in a physiotherapy appointment at Articulate?

At Articulate Tarragindi and Coorparoo we believe in offering a full 1 hour initial appointment so we can get to know you not just as an injury - but as an entire person. We also encourage all of our patients to book a longer appointment of 45 minutes - 1 hour for complex conditions, new injuries or when it has been more than 12 months between appointments. We focus on a holistic approach to injury and condition treatment, ensuring that exercises and rehabilitation fits into your lifestyle and helps you to reach your goals. Appointments typically utlise a range of treatment techniques including patient education, taping/strapping, strength testing, real time ultrasound, manual therapy, dry needling, stretching and exercise. Our clinicians pride themselves on being up-to-date on current best practice and have a strong referral network of complementary practitioners when required. They are happy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and can liaise with your GP, surgeon, case manager or fund manager if required.

Referrals.

We accept a variety of referrals from GPs, surgeons and other allied health professionals, however there is no need for a referral to see a private practice physiotherapist. If you do have a referral and would like to speak to us before booking please don't hesitate to call or email. If you are a referring clinician please feel free to use our referral form here. We are happy accept the following referrals, and can liaise with case managers and funds in order to minimise paperwork for our patients:
