We are able to provide an invoice for Private Health claiming under code 561 at the end of each course (all classes must be attended). We encourage you to check in with your fund before booking to make sure you are covered.

Many of our regular classes are pregnancy friendly with modifications. Give us a call on 07 3706 3407 if you're hoping to find an alternative time or have less than 8 weeks before giving birth.

BOOK CASUAL PRENATAL PILATES TUESDAY EVENINGS & SATURDAY MORNINGS
Our 8 Week Prenatal Reformer Courses at Tarragindi and Coorparoo are the perfect course for mums-to-be and birthing persons looking to stay fit, healthy and comfortable during pregnancy. Our highly trained physios and Pilates teachers all hold expert qualifications, and with small group classes of just 5, you'll be guaranteed to get the personal attention you need to keep you safe. You'll also meet others in a similar stage of pregnancy to you - the perfect opportunity to make new parent friends!

If you have any specific conditions or pain we recommend booking a private assessment with one of our physiotherapists before commencing. We recommend waiting until your 2nd trimester to start the course, and encourage mums to continue attending all the way up to 40 weeks.

 With a focus on precision, Pilates helps to increase body awareness and strength, improve posture and range of motion as well as increasing overall fitness and is incredibly safe during pregnancy. In the course of the 8 weeks, we'll focus on:

Strengthening and learning to relax the pelvic floor
Postural discomfort during pregnancy
Abdominal strength
Labour preparation

 All mats and props are included. We allow 1 makeup class per course. Refunds only with a medical certificate. Prenatal Pilates is hosted at our beautiful Brisbane Southside clinic in Tarragindi and our partner studio Nascent at Coorparoo.
