We currently have a very large demand for Prenatal Courses with most dates selling out well in advance. Pregnant students are welcome in both our general and physio led classes as an option, with all of our teachers comfortable in modifying for pregnancy. If there is a future date that suits we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Are you looking for pregnancy exercise classes on Brisbane's Southside that are safe and effective? Our 8 Week Prenatal Reformer Courses are the perfect course for mums-to-be and birthing persons looking to stay fit, healthy and comfortable during pregnancy. Our highly trained physios and exercise physiologists all hold expert qualifications, and with small group classes of just 5 per class, you'll be guaranteed to get the personal attention you need to keep you safe. You'll also meet others in a similar stage of pregnancy to you - the perfect opportunity to make new parent friends!
If you have any specific conditions or pain, we recommend booking a private assessment with one of our physiotherapists before commencing. We recommend waiting until your 2nd trimester to start the course and encourage mums to continue attending all the way up to 40+ weeks.
With a focus on precision, Pilates helps to increase body awareness and strength, improve posture and range of motion as well as increasing overall fitness and is incredibly safe during pregnancy. Over the course of the 8 weeks, we'll focus on:
Strengthening and learning to relax the pelvic floor
Postural discomfort during pregnancy
Abdominal strength
Labour preparation
Our general Pilates classes are also pregnancy friendly with modifications, and our Clinical Exercise Classes run by our physiotherapists are able to still be claimed on private health. Please contact us if you're hoping to find an alternative time or have less than 8 weeks before giving birth.

Whilst we understand that life happens unfortunately due to small class sizes we are generally only able to guarantee one make up in another prenatal intake and cannot promise specific days or times, however we will always try to accommodate in any way possible. We ask that you always try and attend in the course that you have booked into. No refunds once courses have commenced, and we can only arrange a transfer to another intake with 7 days notice.
