Emma Cameron. BSc Psychology (Hons) | MSpExSc | MPhty Coming from a background in ballet, Emma has always had a deep interest in health and movement. She studied a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honours) before completing a Masters of Sport and Exercise Science and a Masters of Physiotherapy — an unusually broad academic foundation that informs every clinical encounter. Known to many dance families from her years fitting pointe shoes, Emma brings a rare combination of clinical physiotherapy training and first-hand knowledge of the dance world that makes her particularly well placed for dancers and performing artists.
She is trained in Pilates and has a strong interest in exercise prescription for performance enhancement and injury prevention. Her special interest areas include dancers (including pointe readiness assessment and shoe fitting advice), women's health including prenatal and early postnatal care, lower limb injuries across sporting and dance populations, exercise prescription, and Clinical Pilates. She is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, Dance Medica, and the APA Musculoskeletal and Sports national groups. Emma loves combining holistic patient care with skilled exercise prescription. She is a proud new homeowner and has recently completed extensive renovations with her husband at their beautiful new home nearby. Emma currently treats Tuesdays through Saturdays. |

Pip Wright. Pip's love affair with Pilates started when she was just 11 years old. As a full-time ballerina, Pilates supported her body and proved a lifesaver for injury prevention — and teaching it became a natural career progression. As a former classical dancer, Pilates has allowed her love of movement, symmetry, posture and alignment to continue long after her performing years.
Philippa has been using the Pilates method to enhance the lives of individuals for well over 20 years, working with clients aged 3 to 93 — and she is yet to meet two bodies that function exactly the same way. She remains fascinated by the human body and how it operates, constantly expanding her knowledge by adding dynamic and contemporary techniques to the classical repertoire. Extremely well respected in her field, Pip is supported by physiotherapists, physicians and surgeons, and is passionate about educating people on the benefits of Pilates as an ideal movement and physique management option. She also credits Pilates for holding her own body together after carrying three 9½ lb babies caused a severe rectus diastasis. Her greatest achievement? Keeping all three children alive. Pip currently teaches Monday 8:30am and 9:30am, Wednesday 8:30am and 9:30am, and Thursday 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm and 6:00pm. |
