Pip Wright Pilates
Senior Pilates teacher.
Pip Wright.
Pip was only 11 years old when her love affair with Pilates started. As a full-time ballerina Pilates supported her body and was a life-saver for injury prevention.

Pilates instruction became a natural career progression for her. As a former classical dancer, Pilates has enabled her love of movement, symmetry, posture and alignment to continue.

Philippa has been using the Pilates method to enhance the lives of many individuals for well over 20 years. She has worked with clients aged 3 to 93 and is yet to meet two bodies that function exactly the same way. Pip remains fascinated by the human body and how it operates. This inspires her to constantly expand her knowledge, adding to the classical Pilates repertoire with new dynamic and contemporary techniques.

Philippa is extremely well respected in her field and enjoys the support of physiotherapists, physicians and surgeons. Philippa is passionate about educating people on the benefits of the Pilates method and recommends it as the ideal movement and physique management option.

(Pip credits the Pilates method for holding her body together, after carrying three 9 ½ lb babies caused her to have a severe rectus diastasis. To date, her greatest achievements are keeping her 3 children alive!)

Pip currently teaches 8:30am + 9:30am on Monday, 8:30am + 9:30am on Wednesday and Thursdays at 1:30pm, 4:00pm, 5:00pm & 6:00pm.

Pilates teacher.
Alice Sevil.

Alice’s Pilates journey began at age 12 with a DVD featuring three matwork classes that she practiced on the lounge room floor with her 3 sisters. She fell in love with the attention to detail and refinement of movement technique that sets Pilates apart from other forms of exercise. Its specific technique allows for activation of all the right muscles improving posture and spinal mobility without any post class niggles. She likes how modifiable and inclusive it is of people of all ages for injury prevention or rehabilitation. This passion naturally led her into pursuing a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology, deepening her understanding of the functionality of the body and how exercise can be used to prevent and manage chronic conditions.

She is certified in matwork and reformer Pilates through Studio Pilates and holds a Diploma in Sport Management and a Certificate III in Fitness.

Alice teaches our Thursday morning 5am, 6am, 7am, 8:30am and 9:30am classes and Saturday morning 6am, 7am and 8am classes.
