Our Tarragindi physiotherapists are experts at treating WorkCover claims for a variety or injuries, and are able to get you moving as quickly as possible to get you back to doing more of what you love.
Is there an out of pocket expense for Workcover Physiotherapy appointments?
There is no out of pocket expense for our WorkCover appointments and we are happy to liaise with your claim manager directly to save any running around from you (so you can focus simply on getting better without any of the paperwork!). You'll just need to bring the relevant paperwork along to your appointment with you.
What paperwork do I need for my Workcover appointment?
In order to pay no out of pocket you'll need and approved WorkCover Queensland claim number. If you have only just submitted your claim and don't have a claim number yet you are still welcome to book, however you'll have to pay yourself and claim the reimbursement back from WorkCover once your claim number has come through. You can contact WorkCover Queensland on 1300 362 128 to find out the status of your claim and whether your claim number is ready.
You'll also need a current medical certificate from your General Practitioner (GP) and be within the dates of the claim.
How many physiotherapy appointments can I get through WorkCover?
This is completely dependent on your injury and how you're recovering. WorkCover Queensland will approve you for 5 appointments initially. If you require more appointments we will work with your claim manager to get more approved.
