These courses are perfect for mums-to-be and birthing persons looking for exercise classes to increase fitness, build strength and prepare for labour.

Our highly trained physios and exercise physiologists all hold expert qualifications, and with small group classes of just 5 per class, you'll be guaranteed to get the personal attention you need to keep you safe. You'll also meet others in a similar stage of pregnancy to you - the perfect opportunity to make new parent friends!
If you have any specific conditions or pain we recommend booking a private assessment with one of our physiotherapists before commencing. We recommend waiting until your 2nd trimester to start the course, and encourage mums to continue attending all the way up to 40+ weeks (or as long as they feel comfortable).
With a focus on precision, Pilates helps to increase body awareness and strength, improve posture and range of motion as well as increasing overall fitness and is incredibly safe during pregnancy. Over the course of the 8 weeks, we'll focus on:
Strengthening and learning to relax the pelvic floor
Postural discomfort during pregnancy
Abdominal strength
Labour preparation
Our general Pilates classes are also pregnancy friendly with modifications, and our Clinical Exercise Classes run by our physiotherapists are able to still be claimed on private health. Please contact us if you're hoping to find an alternative time or have less than 8 weeks before giving birth.
