Pilates can be safely adjusted to all ability and fitness levels, and is safe during period of rapid growth such as through adolescence. The focus is on individuality which takes away comparison to others, and means that each teen is getting exercises designed to benefit them. Pilates can also accommodate a range of conditions and injuries (including those unique to adolescence) which can be brilliant for teens who are off sport due to injury, or those who haven't been able to play sport previously due to other issues.
