Chris Myers, physiotherapy lecturer at JCU states that this simple exercise prescription may have a big impact, with fifty-two per cent of men experiencing ED and 30 per cent experiencing PE. Mr Myers said straightforward exercises targeting the pelvic floor could help men engage and strengthen the muscle responsible for building and maintaining penile rigidity.
This alternative to traditional medical treatments and drugs means no side-effects. Myers states "Society seems to look for a quick fix. It's like any form of exercise - if there is a pill or a magic potion, a lot of people will take that option." "Pelvic floor exercises to prevent ED and PE are a non-invasive and a cheaper option than traditional methods." Want to find out more? Contact us to book an initial Physiotherapist consultation here.
